NodeSummit - Why Large Scale Mobile and E-Commerce Apps Use Node.js

I will be moderating the NodeSummit 2013 panel "Why Large Scale Mobile and E-Commerce Apps Use Node.js" on December 3rd. The list of panelists is fantastic:

I'm hoping to make this more of a spontaneous conversation. Rather than simply asking each panelist a pre-canned question, I think we can just talk and share stories around the following themes:

• What is it that caused you to look at Node.Js - what is the problem you were trying to solve?
• How has that played out in your organization?
• Given that Node.JS is a pre-1.0 technology, how has that played out? What challenges have you faced?
